Teaching kids, youth and young adults to sing and worship is my passion!
I’ve been in Music Worship Ministry since I was 18 years old. I am passing on the TORCH to the next generation! I love taking “Musicianary” teams into the public square to share Christ locally and internationally. I impart a love for music as ministry for the glory of God (not for stardom.) I have a BA in Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Arizona; a lifetime teacher’s certificate from the University of Missouri, St. Louis in Allied Arts and 7-12; graduate work in music education and guitar; 30 years teaching and administration experience in public and private schools; music teacher for Front Range Christian School K-6 for 7 years; Music teacher K-8 for FRCS Homeschool Enrichment program starting in the fall of 2015; Christian ministry leadership in church planting, missions, worship, and youth and motivational speaking; Author Chicken Soup for the Christian Soul II; composer and recording artist; Founder of Choirfire to inspire worship and develop the musical gifts in kids and teens.
I helped found and am the U.S. Director of Aggie’s Baby Home (like us on Facebook) for abandoned children in Uganda. I love tea and book discussions with close lady friends and family. I have home-schooled all three of my children. My husband, Bruce, and I pastor a simple house-based fellowship. I am the family social planner and love to organize vacations with our grown children (daughter Naomi teachers 6th grade at FRCS; son Jesse is a musician and married to Aubri who is a photographer — they are parents to grandson, Cedric, and live in PA; and daughter Hannah is studying at CCU).
